The legend of hadi rani

Hadi rani was the legendary character she was the daughter of hada rajput who married to king raj singh 1 of mewar (rajasthan) she was known for sacrificing her life to motivate his husband for the war against the mughal emperor aurangzeb.
During 17th century which was the time when chhatrapati shivaji maharaj was struggling to establish and expand thr hindu empire at that time rajasthan was also stuggling against the mughals. When queen hadi asked her husband to involve in the battle against aurangzeb instead of running away from it her husband said i am worried about our family we are newly married but queen replied we are rajputs we must fight with the invaders many innocrnt people are dying she thought that she was an obstacle to his husband duty towards india.
As a result she cut off her head and put it on a plate on her dying moment .an servant came and covered her head with a cloth and presented it to her husband. Her husband devastated he was not able to understand what to do as a result he join battle against auranzeb and fought bravely and made aurangzeb army flee and after his victory he got to his knees and cut his neck.
